The machine is a CMS 5 axis Aries which belongs to Metropolitan University. It has a very large working

capacity. It has a workable area of 5 x 1.3 m. Its workable height is 1m. For 2d/3d production work it has 2

tables each 1.22 x 1.44 m. Machining is roughly charged at £60 / hour for 3 axis work and £100 /hour for 5 axis

work.  This cost does not always include a setup and tooling (cutter) charge . CNC Programming / CAD cost is

£30/hour:
